UPI Transaction Limit: How much you can transfer using PhonePe, GPay, PayTm

Recently, The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has capped the daily UPI Money transfer per day through apps like- PhonePe, GPay, PayTm.

According to the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), an individual can make a total transaction of Rs. 1 Lakh per day through UPI. But this UPI limit varies in banks as some banks like Canara bank permits its customers to use UPI transfers with a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per day while another State bank of India (SBI) has a daily UPI transfers limit of Rs. 100,000.

UPI Transfer Limit Per Day

Along with the money transfers limit, there is also the number of transaction limits that constrains the users from doing a total number of transactions on a daily basis. The number of transaction limits also varies from bank to bank. Some have a 20 Transaction limit while some banks have less compared with others. If any user utilised his total transactions limit he or she has to wait for at least 24 hours to renew his limits.

Google Pay UPI Transfer Limit

Gpay or Google Pay permits its users per day money transfers of up to Rs 1,00,000 along with a total of up to 10 daily transaction limits on all UPI apps and bank accounts. If someone tries to send money of more than Rs. 2,000 Google Pay generally prevents to proceed the request.

PhonePe UPI Daily Transfer Limit

As for as the UPI has been considered, PhonePe is reigning in the UPI digital market with the rest of the other apps. Phone Pe has set a UPI daily transaction limit of up to Rs. 1,00,000. However, this limit may change from bank to bank. PhonePe users can do a maximum of 10 to 20 transactions per day while the maximum per transaction amount is Rs. 2,000 per day.

Paytm UPI Money Transfer Limit

Paytm allows its consumers to do a total of Rs. 1 Lakh money transfer per day. Besides this, Paytm has also set limits on daily and hourly money transfers.

• Paytm Numer of transactions per hour is a total of 5.
• Paytm total hourly money transfer limit is set at Rs. 20,000
• Paytm number of transactions per day is a total of 20
• Paytm daily money transfers limit is set at Rs. 1,00,000

Amazon Pay UPI Money Transfer Limit

Like other apps, Jeff Bezos-owned Amazon Pay has also set the maximum money transfer of Rs. 1,00,000 on its platform. Besides this, Amazon users can do a total of 20 transactions per day.
